How to confirm our BMW unit could be fitted and worked on your BMW car

Please let me know your car model and year before you purchasing. Does your car have DSP or external amplifier was like Harmon Kardon. If so. Joying android car head unit will have no sound after you install it. There is a method can fix this problem. You could modify speaker wires to round these amplifiers and connect Joying radio speakers wires to your car speakers. and that will be ok.

If your factory car cd palyer was like the below pictures, your head unit will work perfectly.

If your car has a screen as the below picture, you will have to buy a extend BMW cable.

If your original car plug as the below picture, you will also need to buy a extend BMW cable.

JOYING ANDROID CAR AUTORADIO STEERING WHEEL CONTROL GUIDE

Many customers asked me " if I buy your android head unit, the steering wheel control will work".


Today, I would like to tell you how to connect the steering wheel control to Joying android car autoradio.

Please confirm your car ( such as VW, Opel, Ford ) has canbus or not and if it supports canbus. If so , you will have to connect canbus decorder. For VW, the steering wheel control will work and you don't need to set steering wheel buttons. Because Joying VW car stereo steering wheel buttons is fixed, but you just can use four buttons control by Joying VW head unit. other four buttons is used to control your original car center dash. The VW steering wheel buttons can not be changed.

If you want to purchase double din, and your car is toyota, Nissanand ,VW or other car brand which can't support canbus, you will have to learn and set the steering wheel buttons. You need to find your original steering wheel wire, then connect our head unit steering wheel wire Key1 or Key2. Pleases note that the GND(groud)wire must be connected.

How to find factory car steering wheel control wire and connect it

Do you know which is factory car steering wheel control wire.

If not,There is a video about how to find it.

Note: Generally speaking ,the voltage is 5V

If your have two swc wires ,please connect it to our unit key1 and key2 wire, and GND wire must be connected like below picture shows.

If your car has only 1 steering wheel wire,please connect it to Key1 or key 2, GND wire must be connected.

How to set car logo on Joying android car autoradio

Please turn on the android head unit at first, then open the settings.Find the Factory settings, put the password is 126, the android head unit will show the CAR LOGO, then choose the your car logo, and choose the Logo Type is the third option is LOGO and DVD car icon. Don't forget click the Apply.

If you can't find your car logo on Joying car head unit,please download a image of your car logo to sd card, and insert the card into (GPS) card slot. then select the Custom and open, choose your car logo image , click Screen logo, select the the Logo Type is the third option is LOGO and DVD car icon. Finally, click Apply.

How to set button lights on Joying Android car autoradio

Today, a customer asked me a question about button lights. He said that "when I power on the system, the side buttons illuminate briefly and then turn off." You probably think there was something wrong with Joying head unit. But I would like to tell you that is a normal condition.

Please connect head unit light control wire to original car light control wire (light control wire was marked as "ILLUM",white& orange)

When you drive your car at night and turn on your car lights , button lights of Joying car autoradio will illuminate , the screen will also be dim to protect your eyes. If you drive your car in daylight, the button lights will not work until turn on your car lights and the screen will get a little bit better light condition. So you can see the screen more clearly.

If you want the button lights is still on in daylight, you need to connect head unit light control wire to ACC wire. Please not that the screen will be dim. At this time, you can enter factory setting to adjust the lightness of screen. There are some operating steps. Firstly, choose "factory setting" option, then type password“126”, choose "other" option, finally adjust keylights. Don't forget to click “apply” and “exit".
